As a charity the service is always looking for extra funds to continue. Robyn Smyth's Fund 13 yr old Robyn was brain damaged when she was born and has suffered from a host of medical problems which still cannot be diagnosed. As a baby she needed many operations to help her open her eyes and now she can't close them properly even when sleeping, her Mum has to apply special drops many times during the night to stop them drying out. Robyn is also unable to walk, talk and feed herself and needs a gastronomy operation which means she will have a feeding tube fixed directly into her stomach. She's had surgery to fix her dislocated hip which meant she was in a plaster cast from under her arms to her ankles for over 3 months. Robyn loves visiting the beach with her brothers and sisters but her wheelchair gets stuck in the sand, what she would really like is a sand buggie and a sensory corner in her room will help her to relax so she stops biting herself and pulling her hair. Ryland Morgan (Steps into Strides) campaign 6 year old Ryland has autism as well as stomach problems. Last year his parents raised funds for medical treatment at a centre in Florida which treats children with autism.
