Body Found In Neath River

The body of a 36-year-old woman has been found in a river near Neath.

The woman was found shortly after 6:45pm last night (Thursday), emergency services were then called to the scene near Station Road, Cymmer.

The body was removed by an officer from South Wales Police, and a team from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

The identity of the woman is not currently known, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
