Adele's picked up two gongs

She was named songwriter of the year and won the prize for most performed work at the Ivor Novello Awards.

But she lost out to Ed Sheeran's The A Team for best song and PJ Harvey won album of the year for Let England Shake.

Lana Del Ray picked up the award for best contemporary song for Video Games.

Take That won the outstanding contribution to music prize and Spandau Ballet songwriter Gary Kemp was honoured for his outstanding song collection.
