Man due in court charged with murder

Body of Irene Lawless discovered in her Carmarthenshire home

The body of 67-year-old Irene Lawless was found at her home in Llanllwni, Carmarthenshire, on Monday.

Darren Martin Jackson, who's 26 and from Kent, was arrested on Tuesday, and will appear in court later today.

Dyfed-Powys Police are urging witnesses to come forward.

In a statement, Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police can confirm they have charged Darren Martin Jackson, 26, with the murder of Irene Lawless.

"Det Supt Pam Kelly would like to thank the small community of Llanllwni for their patience and support during this investigation."
