Men were attacked by man in police uniform

The Ministry of defence has named the three British soldiers shot dead in Afghanistan.

They were Guardsmen Craig Roderick and Apete Ratumaiyale from 1st Battalion the Welsh Guards and Warrant Officer Leonard Thomas from The Royal Corps of Signals.

They were killed in Helmand Province on Sunday.

They were attacked by a man in Afghan police uniform.
