Ospreys Looking To Bounce Back

Saturday, September 8th 2012 09:15

Flanker Justin Tipuric is back in the starting line-up

The defending Pro 12 Champions are hoping to get their first win of the season tonight, when they take on Ulster

Steve Tandy's men suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Treviso in their season opener last week - the first time the region has ever lost to an Italian side.

The Ospreys have made four changes from last week's starting lineup, with Matthew Morgan and Rhys Webb coming into the backline, whilst Ian Gough and Justin Tipuric come into the pack.

Ospreys skipper Alun Wyn-Jones said that despite last week's loss, the Ospreylians aren't starting to panic:

"We have to pick ourselves up, and move forward".

"We know where we are, what we need to do, and where we are going".

"We will concern ourselves about where we are in the table around Christmas time, because we are into the back-end of the season by then".

There will be a return to the Liberty Stadium tonight for former Osprey Tommy Bowe - who rejoined Ulster at the end of last season.

Speaking about the challenge his side will face tonight, Alun Wyn-Jones said:

"Ulster have a lot of strength in depth and a lot of overseas players - they have shown their quality by making it into the final of last season's Heineken Cup".
