Michu celebrates his goal yesterday

Michael Laudrup's men are now second in the Premier League following yesterday's 3-0 win over West Ham.

Swansea City's perfect start to the season has continued, after their 3-0 win over West Ham.

The game was boss Michael Laudrup's first home league fixture since taking charge of the side.

Goals for striker Danny Graham, defender Angel Rangel and Michu sealed 3 points for the Swans, and continued the perfect start to their season.

The Swans are now second in the league table on six points, having scored 8 goals.

Speaking after the game, Michael Laudrup said:

"I’m very pleased with the win,ā€

"Two games, eight goals, but more importantly two clean sheets".

"We can be very happy with the result but we need to analyse the game also".

"We scored two goals from three or four chances, but we gave the ball away too much in the first half and that led to too many free-kicks around the box".

"That allowed them to cause us problems and we got a bit lucky towards the end of the first half".

"But in the second period we completely controlled the game and when the third goal went in, it was all over.ā€

Swansea City have won plaudits from fans all over the world for their style of play since reaching the Premier League, including Barcelona and Spain star Cesc Fabregas.

Yesterday, the midfielder tweeted:

"I love the way Swansea plays....Respect".

Defender Angel Rangel responded by saying:

"It's not the first time he has said something like that!"

"Cesc is a wonderful player, and Barcelona play even better football than we do, so he knows what he is talking about".

"It's great for him to say that about us but this is just the start, there is still a long way to go".
