Cefais y fraint o fod yn rhan or ardal yma ar fy ngenedigaeth ym 1952. Mae'n ardal fydd fythol yn agos at fy nghalon, cefais fy addysg ynddi – Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pontybrenin ac yna Ysgol Ramadeg Tregwyr lle'n bendant datblygwyd fy niddordebau yng ngherddoriaeth, chwaraeon a diwylliant Cymraeg.

Wedi cael fy nghodi ymysg canu fel plentyn, yna yn y Clwb Gwerin tran fy arddegau ac hyd yn oed nawr. Naill ai perfformio'n unigol neu efo'r bois yn y band, crewyd cariad tuag at cerddoriaeth ynof.

Tra yn y coleg, cenais mewn band a chynorthwyo fel DJ ym mar yr Undeb. Credaf fod y datblygiad i lle dwi ar y foment yn eithaf naturiol.

Caraf fy chwaraeon o hyd – naill ai pel droed neu rygbi, ac wedi chwarae dros tim Coleg Wrexham a thimoedd lleol cyn troi i hyfforddi ( roedd y galon ar pen yn iawn ond nid y pengliniau!!!!!!)

Felly brodor o'r ardal ag yn falch o honno.

I had the privilege of becoming part of this area on my birth in 1952. It's a place that I will always hold dear. Locally educated in Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pontybrenin and Gowerton Grammar School, my interests in music, sports and Welsh culture were surely nurtured here.

Being involved in singing as a child, folk club in school (please use the term "singing” loosely!!!!!), performing with the boys in the band gives me a love of music. In college I sang in a group, helped out as a DJ in the Union Bar. It seems to be a natural progession to where I'm at now.

I still love my sport, rugby or football, played for my college side Wrexham and local sides, then went into coaching (as my knees began to creak!!!!). All in all, local boy and proud to be so.
