Following a very short cold snap, it looks like low pressure from the Atlantic will take over this week.

Monday will start cold and dry with cloud building through the day.  Rain will push across south west Wales on a strengthening wind. I till be mild with a top daytime temperature of 9c in  Burry Port and Port Tennant.

Staying mild overnight into Tuesday which will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain.  Feeling milder with a top temperature of 10c in Gowerton.

Little change for Wednesday but the rain will be heavier and more persistent.  It will remain windy with temperatures falling no lower than 10c on the Mumbles.

At this stage, we expect it to become drier on Thursday with much milder conditions.  A high of 12 or 13c is likely in Morriston and Ammanford.

For Friday and the weekend, a mix of sunshine and showers becoming cooler again.
