Helen with the PTAWA (Port Talbot & Afan Women's Aid)
I have had the great honour of becoming the Media Ambassador to the PTAWA (Port Talbot & Afan Women's Aid)
I went along to their office in Port Talbot to find out about the amazing work they do & all their various projects
I spoke first with the Director Naomi Brightmore who told me about their Social Enterprise Projects including the launch of Positive Relationships which starts today at 2pm at the Lodge in Baglan
Then I spoke with the Community & Outreach Manager Kimberley Hillman who spoke more of the work they do with women & children.
Here I am with these two inspirational ladies Kimberley on the left & Naomi on the right
I then popped along to their refuge where I met Support Worker Helen Gardner who told me what is like working at the refuge
One of the enterprises which Naomi spoke about is 'Beautiful on a Budget' where it does what it says on the tin!
Here are the lovely volunteers hard at work
I'm thinking of getting this for my next gig. I do like a bit of sequins!
They are also holding a fashion show with a bit of a welsh flavour on Saturday July 19th in Neath Town Centre were you can see more fabulous clothes like this
Also here is the Swansea Sound link if you want to see more of the photos of their wonderful clothes.
