Helen's Eurovision Blog

Hi there, hope you're well today.

It's that time of year again when us Eurovision fans come out of hiding & party & celebrate the good, the bad & the ugly in Europe's biggest song contest. In the history of the Eurovision the UK have won 5 times with the last one being in 1997 with Katrina & The Waves with Love Shine a Light.

I really love this year's UK entry, the self penned by Molly Smitten-Downes & 'Children Of The Universe'. It's in the top 5 along with Armenia, Sweden, Austria & Holland.

Here is the official video for the UK:

I though I would play you this one from Armenia as a lot of bookies are saying this is the clear favourite.

Its 'Not Alone' performed by Aram MP3

This one is another favourite but probably one of the most talked about entires. Good song though

It's the bearded lady  Conchita Wurst from Austria with 'Rise Like a Phoenix'

Now as much as I want the UK to win I absolutely love this song & have to say it's probably my favourite this year.

It's the entry from the Netherlands from The Common Linnets with the song 'Calm After The Storm'. Absolutely gorgeous song

And finally what I think is this year's stinker. I'm really sorry but I really didn't like Poland's entry this year.

It's Donatan & Cleo with My Slowianie - We Are Slavic & I have no idea what that woman is doing with the plunger!!

Here is the list of all tonight's entires & if you click on one it will give you all the information about them
