Steve has been part of the team here at Swansea Sound since 1999, but before that, he has been involved in the entertainment and music industry from the age of 11.
Steve's colourful life as a Club DJ has taken him all over the UK and abroad over the years, and he sometimes wonders how he crammed it all in!
These days, when Steve's not on the air or out and about for Swansea Sound, you'll catch him in the Swansea Sound studio as a technical operator and producer, pushing all the knobs and buttons for some of the other on air team when they're out and about, may at your workplace or event presenting outside broadcasts.
"Being at Swansea Sound is something I have always felt not only lucky, but extremely proud to be a
part of, as the first commercial radio station here in Wales, it's part of our heritage and history, and it's an honour to be on the team. I love every part of my job, being on air with my own shows is always fun, and on other occasions I get the opportunity to cover such a wide variety of show through the day and evening.
As a technical operator and producer the team put a lot of trust in me to handle the jobs they're not able to do themselves whilst out and about, and there is no greater satisfaction than to leave the studio knowing that as a team effort everything went well and sounded great on air".
When Steve's not at Swansea Sound he loves to spend time with his family, "it's the most precious thing in the world to me he says".
Steve's favourite hobby is freelance photography and says it's the perfect little bit of "me time" capturing people and interesting colourful things is such an adventure, and moments you'll never capture again. It's just so enjoyable and satisfying.
