Swansea Council moves in fight against pandemic
All Swansea Council parks have been temporarily closed.
They include Singleton Park, Clyne Gardens and Cwmdonkin Park along with local favourites such as Cwmbwrla Park, Ravenhill Park, Parc Llewelyn and Morriston Park.
Venues such as Rosehill Quarry Community Park, Victoria Park and Underhill Park are also closed.
All play areas in the parks remain closed.
Robert Francis-Davies, the council’s cabinet member for investment, regeneration and tourism, said: “In light of the need to ensure social distancing and self-isolation we have had to take this decision. I urge people to keep out of our parks.
“It will help protect the safety of staff and residents which is our top priority."
