Driver dies in three-car accident in Swansea

Appeal for witnesses after accident in St Thomas

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash in St Thomas last night which left a driver dead.

The crash, on Pentreguinea Road, happened at about 10:30pm and involved a silver MG ZR motor vehicle, a silver Toyota Celica and a black BMW 1 Series.

The male driver of the MG ZR sadly died as a result of the collision.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers. 

A statement from South Wales Police said:

"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, who may have witnessed the movements of any of the vehicles involved prior to the collision or may have dash cam footage that could assist police enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101 and quote reference 1900375723."

The road was closed for some time for investigation work to be carried out and police have thanked the local community for their patience.
