Jamie Kosack from Swansea has a type of Motor Neurone disease but says it hasn't stopped him from getting in the ring.
It's an inspirational story as the 26 year old up until last year, rarely left his home.
But since joining Bulldogs Gym in Port Talbot his confidence has grown and he's setting himself new challenges.
A weekend ago Jamie got to fight in front of a 150 people at the club.
He told us: "I've been training twice a week for the last year and going to the gym. They've really helped me a lot. All the instructors are really nice and I've enjoyed making new friends."
Mal Emerson from the club says: "Jamie is one of the biggest success stories we've ever seen at Bulldogs. From a man who came here a year ago totally lacking in confidence to actually get in the ring in front of a 150 people, with everyone screaming and shouting his name was an incredible thing to see."
