Pensioner Named As M4 Crash Victim

81-year-old Roy Amos died on Monday in a multi-vehicle collision

An 81-year-old pensioner has been named as the victim of a collision on the M4 in Carmarthenshire.

Roy Amos, from the Llandeilo area, was killed in the multi-vehicle collision on the westbound carriageway near the Pont Abraham roundabout at around 4:30pm on Monday 7th January.

Four vehicles were involved and several people were taken to hospital.

The stretch of road was closed for several hours.

His family has issued the following tribute: “Roy was a loving husband, father, grand-father and great grand-father, who will be sadly missed."

Police are still appealing for any witnesses to this collision, in particular anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
