Celsa Manufacturing Ltd will today face trial over the deaths of two men killed in a giant explosion.
Engineers Peter O'Brien, 51, and Mark Sim, 41, died at Celsa UK in Cardiff in November 2015 when a blast ripped through the building.
Five other men were also injured in the explosion at the plant in Splott.
Earlier this year, Spanish-owned Celsa Manufacturing Ltd pleaded not guilty to failing to ensure the health and safety of employees.
Today the steel manufacturers face trial at Cardiff Crown Court.
Members of the victims' families are expected to be present.
Spanish-owned Celsa employs over 500 people and produces 1.2 million tonnes of steel each year from scrap.
