Three year-old boy in critical condition after crash

Police call for witnesses after incident yesterday afternoon


Officers investigating a road traffic collision in which a three-year-old boy was seriously injured, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

South Wales Police was called to the incident in Glyncoch, Pontypridd, shortly after 4.30pm yesterday.

The child, a pedestrian who lives locally, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle – a silver Ford Fiesta – was uninjured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam footage which could assist the investigation, is urged to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900351232.
