This is awful

A fly-tipping ground with heaps of sofas, bathtubs and fridges now has so much rubbish it can be seen from space.

The site is piled high with household items with hundreds of car tyres, piles of clothes, suitcases and doors scattered across the disused road off the M4 in Newport, south Wales.

The dumping ground is so littered pictures of the piles of waste are visible from satellite on Google Earth.

Brits don’t get into gardening until the age of 44 – when they become house proud and want to keep up with the ‘Joneses’.

A study of 2,000 adults found they only really ‘dig it’ in their forties, when they confidently know what they’re doing.

In recent weeks during the lockdown, 23 per cent have done more gardening than ever before.

And more than a third said the switch happened once they became a homeowner and were keen to spruce up their outdoor space.

Owning lots of tools, giving green-fingered advice to others and having a presentable garden are among the top signs of a master gardener.

The research found in recent weeks during the lockdown, 23 per cent have done more gardening than ever before.

And two in five have used the time to tidy up their outdoor space.

A man who fell out with his wife after she dreamt she had slept with his best friend has divided opinion among others over whether he's right to be upset.

He explains that he just wants to be alone 'for a little bit' after she told him about the dream, but admits he probably over-reacted because 'we all have those dreams'.

His wife had told him about her dream where they were both over at his best friend's house and he had to go outside to do something, but she couldn't remember what.

When he left, his wife and friend began to get intimate

Two thirds of Britons have said the UK should be given an extra bank holiday to celebrate medics and care staff who battle the coronavirus pandemic.

As campaigns such as Clap for Carers, Captain Tom Moore's walking challenge and other fund raising appeals shine a light on how much the UK loves the NHS, many think health care workers deserve further recognition.

A YouGov poll found that almost two thirds of the population supported this proposal, compared to a quarter who opposed.

The report also found that the UK supports more intervention from the UK government.

The public wants more substantial support for workers putting their lives on the line to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

96 per cent of people polled agreed the government should introduce more support for healthcare workers' physical health.

This is while 95 per cent of people supported more support for their mental health needs.

88 per cent were in favour of more generous pay and leave entitlements for them.

Halle Berry has said that she cheated death thanks to co-star Pierce Brosnan.

Brosnan came to her rescue while filming a sex scene for the 2001 Bond film "Die Another Day".

She told the incident while on Jimmy Fallon’s virtual chat show describing how she almost choked on a fig that she had been told to use to seduce Brosnan’s Bond character.

She said: “I was supposed to be all sexy, trying to seduce him with a fig, and then I end up choking on it and he had to get up and do the Heimlich.

“Which is so not sexy – you should have seen it!”

Berry added: “James Bond knows how to Heimlich. He was there for me. He will always be one of my favourite people in the whole world.
