Helen's Race For Life Blog
Hello there, hope you’re well & have had a wonderful weekend
Yesterday I had one of the most amazing days I’ve ever had in Llanelli’s Race For Life. Every woman enters this for their own reasons & I am always so moved with their bravery. What was also so incredible was the amount of people that came to support everyone.
It was such an honour to be involved with such a fantastic team with Claire Scott, Siany & Emma Davies from our sister station The Wave. Here we are at the start line
Our very own Smithy & Mark Powell from the Wave were just awesome of the main stage & Kev Johns kept everyone going at the half way line. I love this photo with the crowd behind us
Here I am with two of my friends Kath & Eleri
This is the lovely Christine who was on my team Hel’s Angels
Here I am feeling proud with my medal
Over the year I have interviewed hundreds of people & I think this has to be one of the most moving interviews I have ever done.
I noticed his family putting up a photo of a little girl on the memory board & I had a chat to them
This is the inspirational & brave Cecelia Bragg.
Afterwards my friends & I went to celebrate.. mmmmmmm yummy!!
