Swansea Sounds Real Sports Phone In

Friday, September 13th, 2019 - 48 minutes

On this week's Real Sports Phone In Podcast, it was a special Rugby World Cup preview. We spoke to Keith Dunn who's the Honorary Consul for Japan in Wales. Keith gets to travel to Japan quite regularly though he won't be there for the World Cup. Caller Gareth says he's confident we'll reach at least the semi finals, while Jim has placed a bet on Wales beating the All Blacks in the final! We also spoke to former Wales Captain and member of the 1987 squad Paul Thorburn who told us how different it was in 87 compared to today. Back then the squad had 2 Coaches and 1 Physio and that was it. There were no Dieticians and Media Officers. Local artist Mark Woolfe has penned a song called Hiddle Diddle Dee in honour of Wales in the World Cup - all that & more on this week's podcast!
